Belonged to the Maasai people of Tanzania. Also known as kibuyu in Swahili, used as a jug to collect milk and blood. Sometime, they used them as their milk bottle for when they are out on the grounds with their herd of cows. There were made from calabashes or gourds which are picked from vines. The insides will be cleaned while the outer part were well decorated with beads and leather as the straps. This is a good piece to add to your collection.
