Medium-sized antelope, lightly built & graceful with reddish-fawn upperparts becoming paler on sides. The only antelope with tuft of black hair on lower rear-edge of back leg. Impala (Aepyceros Melampus) are not endangered in any way & not restricted species under CITES.
Common & widespread, can be found roaming around in most South African, Botswana, Tanzania & Kenya game reserves. The hides were obtained during the culling season authorised by The Wildlife authorities in both South Africa & Botswana. Special Personal Effect Permits has to be obtained to discourage illegal culling or poaching of these hides. Here in Malaysia, this hides are fully inspected & approved by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Jabatan Perlindungan Hidupan Liar & Taman Negara (PERHILITAN) & Malaysian Quarantine & Inspection Services (MAQIS).
There is no maintenance needed, just vacuum them on low probably twice a week (whenever needed). Please take note that sizes, colours & patterns may slightly vary from the picture & description given. This is because no two Impala’s Skins are the same, each one being unique & individual.
