Originated from Borneo, once worn by the warrior of Dayak people, most likely one of their leader judging by the complexity of designs of the helmet itself. Quite old, interesting & rare! The outer part of the helmet is made of pieces of raw coconut shells stiched together onto the fibres which is the inner part/padding of the helmet. The front of the helmet is nicely decorated with a Dayak traditional mystical figure, his eyes were inserted with shells. A human figure is carved and sitting on the top of the helmet. Would make a nice addition to your collectibles collections. Ready to display, at your lovely home, office or even your own private gallery.
Fumigation/Treatment of the wood certificate will be included as your copy for your receiving purposes.
