Only used by elderly BaTonga women of Zimbabwe, it has a cylindrically-shaped pipe connected to a pumpkin calabash placed at the bottom. On the gourd is a reed pipe that links it to a small container made of wood that holds charcoal & tobacco during smoking. Men claimed to be stronger than women so they can smoke using any other smoking pipe with no need to limit the amount of nicotine inhaled hence they used the shorter version of the pipe.
This piece is probably made purely for decoration purposes OR has been used before but not usable anymore.
