Carved out of Ironwood by the Dayak people of Borneo. A Rhinoceros Hornbill’s head is carved on one end of the bowl. In many occasions this bowl was used to place their offerings in different rituals and also during festivals. Mainly as offerings to their Petara (God) for blessings to their family or to their people in general.
Note that there is a small chip on the right side of the bowl hence adding more character to it. Practical in any home as well as fit nicely as part of home décor. Fumigation/Treatment of the wood certificate will be included as your copy for your receiving purposes.
